Lynn Beall

OMVC Treasurer Executive Vice President, Gannett Broadcasting President and General Manager, KSDK-TV

On May 3, 2006 Lynn Beall was named Executive Vice President of Gannett Broadcasting. She was appointed member of the Gannett Broadcasting Operating Committee in August 2003 and named Senior Vice President of Gannett Television in August 2001. In addition to her role as Executive Vice President, Beall serves as President and General Manager of KSDK-TV, Gannett's NBC affiliate in St. Louis, Missouri. She was appointed to that position in March of 1998. From October 1997, she was Vice President/Broadcast at KSDK-TV. From 1994 to October of 1997, Beall was General Executive/Gannett Television. In that capacity, she worked with the corporate staff and Gannett stations on special projects and was the Gannett point person for the cable retransmission process.

Prior to her corporate assignment, Beall was Director of Marketing and Programming at KPNX-TV, the Gannett-owned NBC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona. She joined KPNX as the Director of Marketing in 1991. Beall was National Sales Manager for three years at the Gannett-owned CBS affiliate, W*USA in Washington, D.C. prior to her KPNX assignment.

Beall's career began in Topeka, Kansas in news production, and she eventually moved on to become News Editor. After two years in Topeka, Kansas and a degree in journalism at the University of Kansas, Beall completed the TeleRep Taft Broadcasting sales and management training program. Upon completion of her training at TeleRep/New York, she worked as an Account Executive at WDCA-TV in Washington, D.C. and was eventually promoted to National Sales Manager at the same station.

On June 13, 2007 Beall was elected to the Executive Committee as Television Board First Vice Chair for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). She is currently a board member for the Regional Chamber and Growth Association (RCGA) of St. Louis, Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, national Vice President of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and she serves on the Community Advisory Board for the St. Louis Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Beall was named Manager of the Year in 2000 for Gannett Co., Inc.

Beall was born April 6, 1960 and grew up in Kansas City and Buffalo, New York. Her current residence is in St. Louis, Missouri.
